HIBISCUS FLOWER DRINK (SOBOLO)

INGREDIENTS
- Hibiscus Flower
- Pineapple
- Ginger
- Grains of Selim
- Cloves
- Red chili pepper
- Red pepper corn
- Sweetener (Sugar/ Honey)
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Soak hibiscus flower for some hours (to get juice extracted)
- Strain hibiscus flower into a cooking pot to obtain juice
- Put cooking pot on fire on low heat
- Allow hibiscus flower juice to simmer for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes, pour simmered juice into bowl and allow it cool
- Peel pineapple, put the peels of pineapple into a cooking pot, add water and put on fire to boil. (Boiled peels of pineapple will be used to boil main pineapple)
- Cut pineapple fruit into smaller pieces
- Put chopped pineapple into blender, add juice from boiled pineapple peels to it and blend
- Pour blended pineapple into a different bowl
- Put ginger, grains of selim, cloves, red pepper chili and red pepper corn in blender
- Add water then blend
- Strain the blended spices to obtain the liquid
- Now, we have our blended spices, pineapple juice and hibiscus flower juice
- Pour pineapple juice into the hibiscus flower juice
- Add spices and sweetener according to the way you want
- Stir very well
- Ready to serve
