PALM NUT SOUP

INGREDIENTS
- Palm fruit
- Turkey Berries
- Garden Eggs
- Aidan Fruit
- Onions & Garlics
- Cow feet (optional)
- Salmon
- Dry fish
- Tomato Paste
- Fresh tomatoes
- Green pepper
- Spices
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Add little water and put on fire
- Wash and boil Turkey Berries
- Put on fire
- Drain water
- Put it in mortar and pound
- After pounding, scoop into a different bowl
- Boil hot/ warm water and pour it into the palm nut and mix it with your hand/ laddle
- Squeeze the chaff while stirring and put into a bowl
- Sieve the mixture using colander into another sauce pan
- Put cow feet, and other fishes and wash, then put them on fire
- Blend garlic, ginger and onion
- Pour onto cow feet and smoke fish
- Chop onions into small pieces. Add salt and spice.
- Leave to boil for 30 minutes
- Wash tomatoes, peppers and onions, and put onto boiling meat
- Add little water, and leave to boil
- Wash your aidan fruit
- Cut into pieces
- Put it into the palm nut
- Leave to cook for a while
- Take out tomatoes, pepper, onions, from the soup and grind it or blend
- After blending, pour back into soup and also add salt and spice to taste
- Leave to boil for some minutes
- After minutes of boiling, open to check formation of oil at the surface
- Ready to serve
